In a bizarre partnership that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of prohibited practices and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.

The adventure centers on "strange experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Bonus Material

Players who finish the adventure will obtain an special katana in addition to several objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
